Digital Fingerprinting Services Available at Commissionaires Manitoba

July 21, 2009, Winnipeg, MB -- Digital fingerprinting services available at Commissionaires division office helps to confirm your identity.

With the recent changes to identification required to cross the border by ground, you may need digital fingerprints to confirm your identity, especially if you have a common name.

“We suggest digital fingerprints for people with common last names that come to our offices requesting a criminal background check” says Tom Reimer, CEO. If you share a common name with someone with a criminal history, you may be denied entry to the United States.

Digital fingerprints take three to four weeks, traditional ink and roll can take up to five months! Matching your prints with your name and birth date will help to ensure your identity and ease the border crossing process.

Commissionaires is a not-for-profit national security services provider. Commissionaires Manitoba has been serving the community for over 70 years. Our mandate is to employ Canadian Forces and RCMP veterans.
